![]() I was playing last night, and I put avenues on the sides of my block. Do I have to still click the patch separately in the file to download? Or does it automatically do it? So I when I downloaded the NAM, it said that the patch was included. I did uninstall the origin version, but I’ll just uninstall the GOG again and comb my files to make sure it’s gone. Thank you so much for all of the information, I will definitely get the launcher to make it easier. So, unfortunately, there are some hardware limits. However, I've now got a tower I built that can run it in fullscreen no problem. This combo prevented the game from running in fullscreen mode. Specs for the laptop I have, in case your system matches up somewhere: -HP 15in -Intel Celeron (effectively a Pentium 4) -8gb RAM -integrated graphics (no gpu/gfx card) ![]() Which sucks, cause I have a laptop that can run the game at full resolution, but, can't run it in fullscreen, and so, it had to be run in windowed mode. But, you certainly won't be able to run any 32:9 resolution mode without it being in hardware rendering.Īlternatively, you may need to run it in windowed mode, rather than fullscreen. I believe 1080p can run in software rendering mode. Some things can only be run in hardware mode, such as larger screen sizes. Also, while not absolutely required, having a graphics card will help as well. Make sure to use the 4gb patch with the NAM so that things can function more efficiently. 8gb lets windows use up it's 2gb of RAM, while still allowing your game to use up 4gb. While the game originally could run off of a little less than 4gb, Win10 unfortunately eats up more RAM than it should, so you may actually be running off of less RAM than you think. If you've got at least 8gb of RAM, you should be good. In theory, anything running windows 10 is capable of opening it up in widescreen, given that the game was originally an XP program. Though, they're typically installed in separate folders, if you've overridden their install location, that could potentially be causing problems.Īside from that, you may need to determine your system specs. In case the GOG version is managing to use the same basic files as Origin. Since you have both Origin
